Becky – Manager – 12 years ago when my own children were younger, Phoebe who is now 18 years and Dexter, now 14 years old, I was struggling with the work load of having children and working full time. This is where I had the idea to set up child minding from home and where Little Sprouts began. Over the years Little Sprouts has expanded and became too big for my home so I went in search of new bigger premises. Over the years of have attended and trained in a number of courses and I hold a NVQ level 3 in childcare. I hold a current paediatric first aid certificate. I have also attended lead practitioner safeguarding training. When I’m not working I love spending family time with my husband Richard and our children. I also have a passion for running and am part of a local running club. I’ve competed in lots races and half marathons and two marathons.

Lucy – Deputy Manager – I have worked in childcare for 15 years now, I have worked up from completing my level 2NVQ, 13 years ago to currently holding a NVQ 4 in childcare. Before working at Little Sprouts Nursery I worked at another nursery, it is here where I completed all my training. I have attended the Lead Practitioner Safeguarding training and hold a current paediatric first aid certificate. When I’m at home I enjoy spending time with my daughter Frankie who is 15 and my partner. I also love spending time with my Springer Spaniel, George, taking him to agility training, scent training and on long walks. Hobbies I enjoy at home are to cross stitch and jigsaws.

Phoebe – Room Leader – working towards level 3 in childcare – I am enjoying working towards my level 3, and look forward to completing this later in the year. When I not at Little Sprouts I enjoy Gymnastics and Dancing, which I attend different clubs over the county, joining in national competitions.

Debbie – Cook -I have worked in catering for over 25 years, working in schools and nurseries since 1998. It is over these years experience I have obtained my cooks catering level 2 and completed a course in nutrition, allergy, intolerances and healthy eating for todlers.

Ayesha Stevenson – Aprentice Childcare Practitioner – I have only recently started working in childcare, after achieving my level two at college. I am now working towards my level 3 as an apprentice at Little Sprouts, I am loving every minuet of it. I would like childcare to be my future job role. When I am not at Little Sprouts I like to spend time, with my family, take my dog ‘Odie’ for long walks and going out with my friends.
